The story takes place in a world where people continue their war against the “unknown”—the enemy of humanity. Children who have been evacuated to a cold sleep facility during the invasion by the “unknown” several decades ago wake up from their slumber and learn that their bodies developed some supernatural forces. In order to protect the country from the “unknown” emerging from the Tokyo bay gate, the boys and girls wage battles in the defense the cities of Tokyo, Kanagawa, and Chiba.

This is one show to keep an eye out on, I liked it even on the first episode and I liked it even more from subsequent episodes. It’s not the “I got special powers from a stranger” show though, the characters in this show have special ability right from the start and despite having reached Episode 4 the viewers are still kept in the dark on how they got the powers, and heck – what are those powers?
In any case, what’s interesting about this show are the characters. I’m entertained by the 2 girls in the image below, they happen to be the leader of their district Kanagawa and Chiba.
I enjoyed the fight scenes and the soundtrack, and as for characters I particularly like the red haired girl (Kuudere!) who is the head of Chiba district, not forgetting her witty conversation with her elder brother which is also her assistant. Oh yeah and that white haired girl (Adorable!)
What’s interesting to note are their combat nature, for example the Tokyo district guys are like Harry Potter style broomstick flying Air Force, the Chiba district people are like ground troops and travel via train while the Kanagawa district people are like Navy but attacks with swords. Weird? Perhaps but I like the show so far.
Each episode unveils more of the characters, their relationship, challenges and how they realize the importance of friendship and team work. Hoping the show doesn’t end bad.
